Some Snow Flurries At Independence Pass

	September 8, 2006 - I had a bunch of friends in town all week and on the very last day we took a drive up to Independence Pass. The weather conditions were extremely overcast with quite a chill in the air, but we still had a great time! Here are two photos of us at the Independence Pass sign, which of course, was noted on the "Friends at Independence Pass" page. ;)
	Kelly is a professional photographer (Beautiful Creation Photography) and capture this amazing photo of the rest of us at the overlook.
	The three girls (top) frolick about on the walkway. It was especially nice to host Keema and Rhonda (bottom) who were both visiting from Arkansas.
	And best of all ... it began to snow. This is Colorado at its finest! The snow did not accumulate much that day, but you click the adjacent photo to see a larger view of the snowflakes coming down! :)
	Here is some of the scenery as we returned back down on the Lake County side of the pass. I took each of these pictures while sitting in the passenger seat of our truck. ;)
	One photo of Rhonda, Paul (from Maryland), Keema and myself near Lake Creek and milemarker 66 of Highway 82. We had lunch at a quaint cafe in Twin Lakes to finish the adventure.
