Ron and Steve Visit Independence Pass

	July 7, 2007 - My buddy Ron from Colorado Springs was in town and after having lunch in Twin Lakes, we made a leisurely drive to Independence Pass. It turns out Ron had never been to Independnece Pass in the 30+ years he's been in Colorado. Say it ain't so!
	I snapped a photo of the tundra pool directly on the north side of the pass. As you can see, I got a bit carried away in there, although I must say the water was not as cold as I thought it would be.
	The sunflowers were just beautiful.
	We walked throughout the pedestrian area and then gravitate to this one particular tundra pool. Here are various photos of it and check out all the bright yellow wildflowers!
	This gentleman seemed to capture the attention of many up there.
